Placemint covers health and career topics, so the trustworthiness of our information is our highest priority. This page explains where our data comes from, how we handle gaps, and how to ask us to correct something.

Where our data comes from

• Facility identity & location — public facility lists and registries published by health authorities.
• Contact details & management — official public-sector contact registries, verified against facility sources where possible.
• Training accreditation — internship, community-service and postgraduate accreditation is curated from publicly available accreditation information.
• Qualifications, colleges & medical schools — published information from the relevant universities and colleges.

What we do not do

We do not generate, estimate or randomly fill in statistics such as bed counts, clinical capacity, crime, cost-of-living or salary figures, and we do not present unverified numbers as if they were sourced facts. Where we do not hold a verified value, we show that it is not available rather than guess.

Accuracy and limitations

Public data changes over time and can contain errors or omissions. Information on Placemint is provided for general guidance only and is not professional, medical or career advice.
